Our mission is to work to reduce poverty, discrimination and the financial exclusion of Travellers in Ireland by effecting change in policy and practice and by building Traveller inclusion and capability in partnership with the Traveller community.
We do this with the following overarching goals:
- To highlight issues over indebtedness and exclusion from financial institutions and make appropriate responses through our research and policy
- To empower the Traveller Community by establishing ways for the Traveller Community to access legal and affordable saving and credit and build capacity within the community through community education and development work
- To promote money management through community education, skills, development, project work and by supporting better access to services
- To support the Traveller Community and other relevant services to ensure they have ease of access to these services
